My own story is one of the many miraculous cures.

I had a tumour very close to my spine, and although I wasn't in pain it was growing larger. What I didn't realise was just how much it was growing on the inside. For some unknown reason I never trusted a western doctor to remove it, my intuition just told me something would go wrong.

I read the book "The Miracle Man "by Robert Pellegrino - Estrich, and I knew I had to go to Brazil to see João.

I wasted no time and went to see him in May 2000 and had the most profound journey of my life.

He operated on me on the stage in front of about three hundred people.

It was a physical operation using a scalpel. I was fully conscious and could feel everything he was doing - cutting, poking, pulling etc. I honestly felt no pain whatsoever even though I had not had any anaesthetic. The whole operation took about twenty minutes. The tumour was almost the size of a tennis ball. After the operation I felt no soreness and there was no swelling or bruising. I have the entire operation on video.

When he had finished he said that it was a miracle and that if western doctors had removed it I would have been a paraplegic, because it had started to grow under the spinal column and wrap itself around the nerves. I have to admit I didn't believe him. I'd never entertained the thought that I wouldn't be able to walk, but six days later when he took the stitches out; he repeated it to me again. I knew he was telling me the truth. I sat down and wept.

All that's left now is one tiny neat scar.

João told me that if I hadn't been spiritually ready, he couldn't have done it.

He also said that I would be going back to Abadiânia many times. During the times I have been back I have witnessed many healings. I have also had some profound spiritual experiences, some of which are indescribable. My own healing abilities are much stronger too. João and the entities allow me to sit in the current room and work with them energetically, and patients here at home say it feels sometimes as if my hand is inside them. So I feel doubly blessed not only from having received so much, but also that I am able to help others too. The healing is the love of my life.

It has also led to me working as a facilitator, arranging and taking small groups of people out to meet João to receive healing and spiritual surgery.
